Sophie Neville (b. 1960) comes from Frampton Mansell, Gloucestershire, where her family live in a converted 17th century watermill and keep otters. After graduating from Durham University with a degree in Anthropology, she worked for the BBC for nine years, latterly as a producer. She used to spend half the year in South Africa, working from Horizon Horseback Adventures in the Waterberg, painting the wildlife around her. She exhibited at Ants Nest and often traveled up to Botswana where she painted from Macotoo camp in the Okavango Delta.
Sophie married and is now living on the south coast of England, although she travels even further afield, having recently been to China, Pategonia and Turkey.
Sophie's work can be seen and purchased at various places on the south coast or by contacting her directly.
Sophie has written books, including "Funnily Enough" (Kindle US | Kindle UK), relating her experiences in coming through ME, and now has a Blog, which includes reminiscences of her time as "Titty" in the 1974 film "Swallows and Amazons". "Funnlily Enough" reached number 2 in the Kindle free books download chart in April 2012.
Sophie can be emailed at firstname.lastname@example.org.
